# Delegate to a Proxied Account

1. `Select` the **Wallets** tab.
2. `Navigate` to the **wallet** that you wish to set a **Delegated** **Authority** for.
3. `Select` the **3 horizontal dots** to the right of the wallet in the list.
4. `Select` **Delegate**.
5. `Select` the **network** that you wish to delegate authority on.
6. `Input` the **address** of the account that you wish to delegate authority to.
7. `Select` the **type** **of** **access** that you wish to delegate, for example, Staking, to allow the delegated account to only control staking-related operations.
8. `Select` **Continue** and **sign the operation**.

Open the wallet drop-down by clicking on the wallet card.

1. Click on the **information icon ⓘ** next to your preferred wallet.
2. On the Wallet Details popup, select the **Delegated Authorities (Proxies)** tab.
3. Click on the **Add delegated authority** button.
4. Select your **preferred network** where you want to add your Pure Proxy.

If you choose a **Multishard** wallet, select the **shard**, the one you want to delegate to, under the drop-down menu.

If you choose a **Multisig** wallet and you have more than one signatory, you are able to change your **signatory** account under the drop-down menu.

⚠️ This signatory needs to lock up funds for the Multisig Deposit.

If you choose a **Multisig** wallet, you can add a description of the operation.

6. Enter the **account address** to which you want to give authority.
7. Choose the **Access type** *(ie. Staking operations)*.
8. Click on **Continue**.
9. Review all of the contextual information.
