# Search for an Asset

{% hint style="info" %}
For demonstration purposes, we chose a [Single Polkadot Vault](https://docs.novaspektr.io/wallet-management/polkadot-vault-wallet-legacy/single-polkadot-vault-wallet) account and used the **Chain-centric** layout.

1. On the **Assets** page, start typing the **asset name**, **network name** or **ticker** in the search bar.
2. Nova Spektr will filter down the list of assets by the **search string**.
3. Even if [Hide zero balances](https://docs.novaspektr.io/portfolio/show-hide-zero-balances) is on, filtered assets with zero balances will be shown.
